* The Fjord 40 Open was the first yacht built by the Hanse Ship Yard in collaboration with the "Allseas Design" studio.
* Following the partnership with "Wally," the design studio of Patrick Banfield developed a new concept in conjunction with the German Ship Yard.
* The Fjord 40 Open redefined luxury day cruising, leading to the creation of a series of Fjord yachts spanning from 36' to 52'.
* Life on board the Fjord 40 Open is primarily centered on the deck, divided into five distinct areas: a generous bathing platform, convertible dinette, galley, helm position, and forward sun pad.
* The yacht is equipped with IPS drives and a joystick, making it easy to maneuver, even for a single person.
* It is powered by fuel-efficient Volvo Penta IPS engines, offering a cruising range of over 200 nautical miles at 25 knots, with the option of IPS 500 or IPS 600 engines.

* The yacht's main deck offers secure walk-around access, with a rigid T-Top providing shelter for the helm and foldable seats.
